Expanded in 2008 with the renovation of Saint Augustine Hall, the Arts at Austin Program is designed to give every student an understanding of and appreciation for the arts. Students have the opportunity to experiment in and build upon the talent that they already possess, to discover a new talent of which they were unaware or to learn to appreciate the value of artistic expression. 

Through the Middle School Arts Program, every student explores art, music and drama for one quarter each school year as part of their Activity Period requirements. During their freshman year, students take one semester each of Introduction to Music and Introduction to Art. These courses, require no previous arts experience, and appeal to a broad range of skill levels.

After school arts offerings, open to all grade levels, allow Austin students to further explore interests in visual arts, music, drama, dance, performance and theatre technology. Offerings include Bookmaking, Watercolors, Photography, Band, Chorus, Dance, and Drama.
